My Role: Staff Technical Program Manager (R&D and Engineering)

Product Management Methodologies: Waterfall (Hardware) and Agile (Software)

Cross Functional Teams: Hardware, Software, Data Science, Data Engineering, Firmware, Product, Compliance, QA, NPI, Contract Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing.

Accomplishments:

• Fleet API: A strategic software program for partners to manage their Span fleets, which launched on time and to partner specifications. Designed to be scalable for future revenue opportunities.

• Stealth R&D Hardware Programs: Ambitious, cutting edge electrification technology not yet seen in the field.

• Business Contact for Department of Energy Grant: Liaison for DOE and Span’s technical teams.

• R&D Organization Leader: Reported directly to Senior Vice President of R&D to streamline the organization, including implementing formal Agile cadences, weekly executive reporting, budgeting, resourcing, and serving as Chief of Staff.

• Data Quality and Integrity: Revisited our data tooling to address the requirements of machine learning, improving completeness and accuracy.
